Producer Itaewonbro announces the upcoming release of “What Kinda” a club-oriented single combining Afro-influenced rhythms, reggaeton grooves, and contemporary dance production. Inspired by the energy of Seoul's Itaewon nightlife, the track explores the excitement and uncertainty of meeting someone new in a crowded club.

“What Kinda” tells the story of a man who finds himself attracted to a woman on the dance floor but hesitates before making his first move. Drawn to her presence, he wonders about the person behind the attraction. The song captures that familiar moment of curiosity, anticipation, and playful tension before two strangers begin a conversation.

Built around the repeated phrase “What Kinda,” the track features a rhythm-driven vocal hook, syncopated Afro-influenced percussion, a prominent bass groove, and reggaeton-inspired dance rhythms. Its repetitive vocal phrasing emphasizes the playful nature of the encounter while keeping the focus on movement and the dance floor.

Through “What Kinda,” Itaewonbro draws on the atmosphere of Itaewon's multicultural nightlife, where music and dancing bring people from different backgrounds together. ‘What Kinda’는 클럽에서 우연히 만난 매력적인 여성에게 말을 걸고 싶지만, 쉽게 다가서지 못하는 남성의 설렘과 호기심을 담았다. 음악에 맞춰 춤추는 상대의 모습을 바라보며 어떤 음악을 좋아하는지, 어떤 스타일의 사람인지 궁금해하는 남성의 마음을 재치 있고 장난스러운 시선으로 표현했다.
